Yes. I have a civilised jamaican friend who was ready to hold a conversation without any of his patoire. But na Rasi is a close friend of mine who is definitely upcoming in the underground urban genre.. it was only right i interviewed him despite his rasta roots

Well i’m Rasi/RasEye I dont know what to call myself as I can do many things, errmm im currently part of a Multi Media Group called Coldcash MG, 6FigureMusic & Star Stream errrmm yeah
Conducta: nice nice, how long have you been doing these many things for?
Raseye: Errrmm producing for almost 2 years and been designing for a little longer, recently started engineering like yourself and also been teaching myself how to direct videos. Oh yeah im pretty sick at football
Conducta: niceee. thats good jamaica need help actually qualifying for a world cup, who do you draw upon for inspiration in all these fields??

5 Years? hmmm hopefully coldcash would have kicked off as a full multi media company, Music & Photography studio setup, working with the fam (Obviously you) and helping the younger lot break through, yeah thats my main objectiive i want a mentor though!!
Conducta: you’ve definitely got the right vision and i’m sure you’ll achieve that.. What do you think of the state of uk scene at the moment?

Uk ermmm well i gotta give it to Tinie, Skepta & Tinchy are putting grime on the map without doing grime so i cant complain as for chip he’s way ahead i’m still a big fan of some of his music unlike his attitude LOL….
But i’m mostly impressed with the producing side Parker, Labrinth, (YOUR TWIN) Magnetic Man(Skream ect) & Fraiser T Smith are pushing the limits and give people like us a chance or even hope that it is possible to get somewhere. So yeah im pretty happy although grime has taken off fully we’re in a good place

Raseye: Really and truly S-X is leading the way for the new breeds but apart from him would say You, Ampz, Komenz, Zodiac, Cee Major, Chillz, Im gonna say Twitch (even he said he’s stopped) errrmmm Renay , Delio Lima, F Dot, Mojo, couple of the beat creature lot, im hearing darkness and trixx are coming up aswell and sadly im gonna say Z Dot cause he’s actually making movements even though & his music is boring & i dont like his style. Theres more names but i only listen to the people around and who I assoisate with

Raseye: Ermmm yeah sort of the older look aint so helpful but true say there was a time when they had no help and look how far they have made it, so maybe the best thing for our generation to do is make our own opportunites from what we are given, its hard but hey thats life for ya

Im here *salutes to fans*. I ‘ve been away for abit listening to alot of different music taking myself out of my comfort zone. Trance/ electronic music has grown on me recently and i think that from what i post and produce you’ll hear that aspect from me.. nevertheless i love grime, grime was my 1st love
I noticed that blogging recently has been alot of work and im looking to start a blogging team so if you re interested comment on the post or inbox me on facebook twitter etc (p.s i’d prefer if you were an attractive female).

L-aye Photography Interview
A few weeks back i caught up with L-aye a photgrapher who is currently taking part in a bbc project and has snapped for the likes of skepta, dj limelight, Footsie, C gritz and many more. It was his birthday at the time and i thought whats a better present than an interview..
Conducta : So for everyone on the blog who wont know you.. introduce yourself?
L-aye : I’m L-aye of L-aye Photography and also the new cameraman for Limelight TV ( Dj Limelight is also my manager)
Conducta : Good look you got there. Photographers are always interesting.. what got you into that field?
L-aye : I’ve always been interested in the ‘art’ if you like and I’ve always loved the idea of catching time or a moment in a still frame which then becomes a memory that you can share with others. Its also a form of communication, a photo can say so much and so many different things depending on who’s looking at it or how you look at it
Conducta : very nice.. any interesting presents for your birthday??
L-aye : I got a few ralphy polos, adidas shell toes but most of mine are yet to come still and also being taken out and that but I’m always pleased with whatever is gifted to me..
Conducta : *screwfaces the screen* how nice… well my present is your interview… but also because your fam and good at what you do… how do you feel?
L-aye : *awkwardly laughs* thanks and I’m glad to be having the interview, this is my first ever! Other than that I feel pissed because its my birthday and literally today I’ve came over with a flu ><

Conducta: ahhh dont worry let it all out #dalewinton… so far who are the biggest names you’ve worked with?
L-aye : laughs ummm so far I’ve worked with DJ Limelight, who is also my manager now, Gunna Dee, Skepta, Jammer, Boy Better Know Devlin, Moony from Kidulthood & many more. I also so very nearly worked with N-Dubz but my camera was confiscated at entrance ffs :@ I’ve got loads of big names lined up too such as Marvell, Voltage, Rude Kid, Giggs, Joe Grind, Kid D, Ghetts, Griminal, Kozzie, Terror Danjah, Lil Dee & many more! Stay posted, there’s definitely big things to come from me! I’ve also just finished working with BBC on a film making project which was excellent!
Conducta : very big look, as a photographer where do you see yourself in 5 years time & as a listner of underground music where do you see that in few years time?
L-aye: As a photographer I’m hoping to progress with portraits of people and I’m looking to branch out to US artists. I’m also looking to do shoots for well known brands. Switching over to Grime now I’d like to say in a few years I can see it progressing to the point its out there like rap but I can’t see that happening until everyone comes together and supports good music and the established artists help bring the younger generation through. There’s too much greed in Grime, everyone wants a piece of the pie but nobodies willing to give a helping hand.
Conducta : you’ve definitely got your head screwed on.. atm which artists and producers are you feeling and why?
L-aye : In the rap scene I’m feeling Giggs and Krept & Konan and Gunna Dee .Although grimes taken a back seat i’m feeling skepta and the mainstream tunes Skepta is doing now, they’re still Grime but he’s reaching out to a whole new audience. Also shout out to Chipmunk aswel, very talented artist and definitely up there with my favourites.
Conducta: Some people may question your choice to class skepta as grime.. can you justify your reasons for that?
L-aye: In my opinion he’s always stuck to spitting grime (with the exception of rolex sweep). if you looks where he’s come from with tunes like private caller to rescue me you can see his progression as a refined grime artist. He has managed to not leave it behind which is also key.
Conducta : interesting….. what do you think of this whole #teamuk nonsense?
L-aye: I don’t think ‘TeamUK’ exists or will ever exist until everyone comes together and supports. Take Chipmunk as a prime example. One of the best talents to come out of the UK musically, extremely talent and intelligent artist yet he has a load of haters on his back calling him a sell out because he didn’t stay underground. Why? Who can honestly say they would turn down mils for hood rep?
Conducta: if you were an aspiring artist on the verge of a deal and becoming a commercial brand artist would you sign or would u stay underground?
L-aye: I’d keep it real to myself. If the deal states strictly no underground music I wouldn’t sign because I’m about underground music but at the same time everyone needs to eat so I have no problem in making a commercial tune if it means a nice pay check.

L-aye : Basically, I approached him for a shoot and he offered me a place on the down with it team asking me to be part of the movement and i happily accepted. So one day i was with my boys Raseye and Fumez doing a shoot for Gunna dee. After this i took the train to get too the down with it photo-shoot. I obviously don’t mind putting the work in but he kept me there for 4 hours. I was happy to do this for free as i was dedicated to being part of the team then when photos from the shoot were released he failed to shout me out or give me any promotion. So he basically took advantage of my service .
